Marc-Antoine Bérubé is a multi-talented musician who has a passion for world rhythms.

He is a graduate of the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, where he studied classical percussion under Jean-Guy Plante. He also studied Latin percussion under Luc Boivin and  was learned  various styles and techniques of Irish bodhran from Fred Graham.  He currently freelances on percussion and drums. He also teaches in various college in the Montreal area.

Marc-Antoine Bérubé has developed an expertise in both Irish and Quebec traditional music. He studied fiddle under Paul Legrand and then advanced his skills on his own through associations with various local musicians. Presently, Marc-Antoine plays fiddle, guitar and  bodhran with various musical groups and he teaches fiddle at the Siamsa School of Irish Music.

With respect to traditional fiddle, he has a wide range of current activities. In addition to his responsibilities for the Intermediate/advanced fiddle class at Siamsa, he plays regularly with the  Siamsa Ceili Band during ceilis organized by the school. He is also a qualified musician for dance competitions organized by the North American Feis Commission.   He is part of  two main musical projects Corsaire and The Cats in the Kitchen. With these groups he plays regularly in the Montreal area. And finally, through an association with  Oyez Oyez Productions, he is often part of the musical support for private events hosted by the restaurant Le Cabaret du Roy.
