About sound files

Siamsa now has 2 kinds of sound files: Real Audio and MP3. The Real Audio files take less time to download, but you can't save them. The MP3 files take longer to download, and you can save them to your hard drive.
For Real Audio you need realplayer G2, 7, or 8 basic, which are free, downloadable programs. To get a player, click on the Realplayer icon below, and follow the instructions. For MP3 files, you can download free versions of Windows Media Player. Get version 7 for Windows 98 and newer, and version 6.4 for Windows 95 and NT 4. Mac users with OS 8.01 and later should get version 7.0.
